The conscience of the self is a powerful gift, it is a precious treasure called life. However there is a significant cost: morality. Our existence is always combined with the cognition of growing up and dying. Our preoccupation about morality is evident from the begging of our history as humans. Before 4.000 years the friend Enkidu of the Babylonian hero Gilgamesh died and Gilgamesh’ words were an evident verification of his preoccupation about death: “You cannot hear me, when I die will I become like you Enkidu, misery has broken my heart, death scares me”. For some of us death anxiety is expressed indirectly by either a generalized preoccupation or another psychological symptom like phobias. Others experience a clear, conscious anxiety about death. Others perceive death anxiety like a terror which consists of an obstacle for experiencing happiness (Yalom,2008).
