Ένα πλοίον ταξιδεύον με υπέροχον καιρόν

Ζώντας βίον πρωτογόνου και ο νέος με την κόρη

Αλλά φθάσαντος χειμώνος και μη φθάνοντος βαπόρι
απεβίωσεν ο νέος και απέθανεν η κόρη.

Αργότερα αργότερα πλησίασαν δυο κότερα
ήρθε κι ένα βαπόρι ματαίως ψάχνον για να βρει
ματαίως ψάχνον για να βρει τον νέον και την κόρη.

Κατηραμένη νήσος, νήσος των Αζορών,
που καταστρέφεις νέους και θάπτεις των κορών.

Να πέσει τιμωρία από τον ουρανόν
να λείψεις απ\' τους χάρτας και των ωκεανών.

ΥΓ Όποιος το έχει ακούσει και το έχει καταλάβει ας με το εξηγήσει και εμένα. Πάντως είναι φοβερό τραγουδι. (βλ Θεοδωράκης - Μπιθικώτσης)
